While it might be possible to identify the particular pathogen, enzyme, or attitude that’s making you sick, the elusive condition we call wellness can’t be pegged to any one source. It comes from a variety of factors — social, emotional, and physical — that interact with each other in surprising ways. Managing those factors is what The Wellness Connection is all about.
Founder Susan McCormick created The Wellness Connection after struggling to recover her own wellness in the wake of a traumatic accident. She realized that what she was learning about subtle connections between mind, body, and spirit could help other people too, so in 2009 she launched The Wellness Connection, which she describes as a “one-stop-shop that brings you together with your providers in a collaborative partnership to optimize health and well-being.”
The Wellness Connections offers workshops, counseling, psychological testing, nutritional therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, and a host of other services by professionals who work together to integrate their contributions to your best life.
And because she believes that what you eat is a crucial factor in how you feel, she hosts CSA pick-up sites at all three Wellness Connection locations: South Riding, Ashburn, and Leesburg. Visit their website to learn more.
