We are very excited to introduce the newest addition to our educational tours: Save the Monarch Butterflies! Students will understand the importance of milkweed plants for the survival of Monarchs, and they’ll learn about the adventurous 2500-mile migration route that takes Monarchs to Mexico.
Don’t forget to exercise gross motor skills in our 5 acre play area! Our 2800 sq ft Pumpkin Jumpin’ Pillow, Triple Threat 80′ slides, pedal cart track, and rope swings will make your heart race! You can become a Maze Master by challenging each of our 4 mazes. See who can climb up the Rubber Ridge tractor tire mountain the fastest, or go for a romp in our Corn Bin.
The Butterfly Tour (June-mid-Sept) is $9 per person, and it includes:
- Butterfly life-cycle and fun facts
- Hands-on pollination discovery with a magnifying glass
- Greenhouse tour and planting
- Soil station
- Wagon ride tour of the farm
- Gross motor work-out in our farm play area after your tour
With each of our field trips, one bus driver and one teacher receive complimentary admission for every 15 students, with a minimum of 15 students. We are here rain or shine, and there are several covered areas available to shelter your group from inclement weather.
Let us provide flatbread pizza for lunch so you can save time going back and forth from the bus and spend it enjoying your field trip and educational experience!
