Students will learn about the pumpkin life-cycle — from seed to vine to flower to fruit to pie, and even get to pick their own pumpkin! They will discuss similarities and differences between fruits that have to be replanted every year, like pumpkins, and fruits that grow on trees, like apples. Schedule in late September and early October to have the chance to see the live pumpkin vines before the first frost, along with the actual stages of growth from flower to fruit.
The Guided Pumpkin Field Trip (Sept 20-November 7) is $14 per person, and it includes:
- Wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick a small pumpkin
- Pumpkin life-cycle station
- Apple life-cycle station
- Reserved Picnic Area to gather for your snack or lunch
- 1 Teacher no charge per 15 students
- 12:30 pm pig race on Tuesdays – Fridays
- Gross motor work-out in our farm play area after your tour
- Guided Educational experience + Pumpkin Picking table 60- 90 minutes depending on the size of your group and then you are welcome to explore the farm play area as long as your time permits.

The Self Guided Corn Maze & Play Area Visit (September & October) is $10 per person, and it includes:
- Wagon ride
- Challenge the Fall Corn Maze (30 Minute average experience)
- Explore our 15 acre play area with more thought mazes, memory games, jumping pillows & the one of a kind Farm Ninja Obstacle Course
- 12:30 pm pig race on Tuesdays- Fridays
- Option to add on a small pie pumpkin from our farm market for $4 each or a class pumpkin for $.59/lb
- Great Options for under groups with children under 2 and groups looking for the most cost effective way to visit this fall.

Don’t forget to exercise gross motor skills by visiting our 15-acre play area! Our 2800 sq. ft. Pumpkin Jumpin’ Pillow, Double Barrel 80-foot slides, and rope swings will make your heart race! You can become a Maze Master by challenging our fall Corn Maze and thought mazes like the Jammed Tractor Maze. See who can climb up the Rubber Ridge tractor tire mountain the fastest, or dig in our Corn Bin to experience different a texture than a sand box.
With each of our field trips, one teacher receives complimentary admission for every 15 students, with a minimum of 15 students. We are here rain or shine, and there are several covered areas available for your group to shelter from inclement weather.
Please bring water for your group. We strongly recommend a large cooler with cups.
Complimentary admission is not applicable of Farm Club Members, and Military ID Holders for School Tours. Promotional offers may not be applied for School Tours.
