Let us be the hands-on part of your farm, earth, recycling, or outdoor camp experience this summer. We can help reinforce Virginia SOLs by discussing seeds, water cycles, and solar energy in our greenhouse. Students will plant seeds to take home and grow their own sunflowers. We tailor each presentation to the age of the students. Take a wagon ride out to the pick-your-own fields so your students can experience life on the farm as they pick a fruit or vegetable to take home.

Don’t forget to exercise gross motor skills by visiting our 15-acre play area! Our 2800 sq. ft. Pumpkin Jumpin’ Pillow, Double Barrel 80-foot slides, and rope swings will make your heart race! You can become a Maze Master by challenging each of our four mazes. See who can climb up the Rubber Ridge tractor tire mountain the fastest, or go for a romp in our Corn Bin. Summer camp groups are welcome to spend the whole day at the farm and max out their enjoyment in the farm play area.
The Garden Field Trip (June-August) is $14 per person, and includes:
- Wagon ride to one of our produce fields or orchards to pick a fruit or vegetable to take home
- Greenhouse tour & sunflower planting
- Composting Station
- Gross motor work-out in our farm play area after your tour
With each field trip, one teacher receives complimentary admission for every 15 students, with a minimum of 15 students. We are here rain or shine, and there are several covered areas available to shelter your group from inclement weather. Tours are available Tuesdays and Fridays.
Please being water for your group. We strongly recommend a large cooler with cups.
Complimentary admission is not applicable for children (3ys & older) of Farm Club Members, and Military ID Holders for School Tours. Promotional offers are not applicable for School Tours.
