6.25.26 Weather Update: The weather forecast keeps changing for this weekend and right now it is looking like the rain will be in the evening so dress for the weather and come on out for some pickled fun!
Join us for Pickle Fest at Great Country Farms—where summer is in full swing and we’re dedicating an entire weekend to celebrating the cucumber in its finest form: PICKLED!
Bring the whole family and enjoy:

- Farm-fresh eats & craft beverages from Henway Hard Cider
- Classic farm attractions and plenty of silly pickle-themed games

Take a wagon ride through our regenerative farm fields, visit with our friendly goats, and challenge yourself on our Farm Ninja obstacle course, giant slides, and jumping pillow. Farm 15-acre play area open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Schedule of Funtivities @ The Henway Cider Barn:
- 10am & 10:30am Pickling Class @ Henway ($18/ participant to add on this experience )
- 11:30 Pickle Parade – Decorate your stroller/wagon or trike
- 12pm Pickle Costume Contest Most Spirited– Who will win the Big Dill and the Little Gerkhin Title?
- 1pm- Family Games
- Pickle Toss followed by Pickle Flip Cup
- 2pm: Pickle Bingo
- Bingo Break: Pickle Juice Chugging Contest – challenge our own Chef Corey for Bragging Rights!
- 3pm Blind Pickle Tasting to Identify the Brand of Pickle at Henway ( $5/participant to add on this event – Limited Event)
- Identify the vendor for each dill pickle and get them all right be entered in the drawing to win.
️Admission: Advance: $12.00 per child | $14.00 per adult + $1.00 ticketing fee
Tickets at the Gate: $16.00/ guests of all ages
Includes wagon rides, farm attractions, and more! After a fun-filled day on the farm, explore our sister properties for tastings of craft wine, cider, and beer—just down the road in scenic Bluemont. Children 2 and under are no charge. Military Families please use the Military Ticket option for complimentary Military Family Admission to the Farm.
