The Backpack Parade 11am
Ready to show off your new school swag? Kids can join in on our “Backpack Parade” by wearing their new school book bag with pride and walking the parade loop in front of our friendly Cider Barn judges! Our Backpack Best-Of Awards include Coolest, Cutest, Most Colorful and more! And what’s an award without a prize? Every kid’s a winner, and every winner gets a little back-to-school surprise for participating!
Shop The “Book Hop” Mobile Bookshop 11-3
West Virginia’s favorite traveling children’s bookshop – The Book Hop – is joining Henway as a featured vendor for Back to School Bash! From chapter books to early readers, puzzles to graphic novels, you can shop this mobile bookshop while snacking on yummy light bites from The Henway Hard Cider Barn’s Bird Bits Kitchen!
Field Day Games 12pm at the Henway Pond
Bring the whole family out to participate in classic outdoor field day games, like relay races, on The Henway Hard Cider Barn’s lawn! With a little friendly competition and a whole lot of fun, our field day games are perfect for guests of all ages.
After School Snack Bar 11-5
Kids can sidle up to the After School Snack Bar to mix and match their very own after school snack! Think goldfish, mini marshmallows, gummy bears, pretzels and more – all in a cute little cup they can carry around and munch on during their visit!
Cheers for All Ages! 11-6
Kids can sip on our crisp Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Cider or enjoy a pour from our fresh boxed cider! Grownups can enjoy Henway’s many flavors of housemade hard ciders, on tap and in can!
