August 22 & 23 | Great Country Farms
9am to 5pm – Come see the Pros
After an incredible first year filled with generosity, grit, and community spirit, the Top Gun Construction Rodeo returns for an even bigger, two-day event in 2026.
What started as a six-week idea quickly became a powerful demonstration of how the construction community shows up for its own — raising more than $25,000 for a local family in need. This year, Land Improvement Contractors of America (LICA) and Great Country Farms have teamed up, bringing that same heart, horsepower, and heavy equipment for a full weekend of competition, family fun, and giving back.

Competition With Heart
From morning to late afternoon, skilled heavy-equipment operators will go head-to-head in timed challenges designed to test precision, speed, and skill. Expect roaring engines, nail-biting finishes, and plenty of friendly rivalry as contractors and operators showcase the talent and camaraderie that define this industry.
Local contractors and equipment dealers will once again transform the farm into a one-of-a-kind competition arena filled with impressive machines, hands-on experiences, and larger-than-life demonstrations.

Family Fun & Hands-On Adventures
The Construction Rodeo isn’t just for industry pros — it’s built for families and future operators, too. Kids and adults alike can get up close to the equipment, try interactive challenges, and enjoy crowd-favorite activities returning from last year (and a few exciting new surprises).
From cheering on competitors to exploring the grounds, there will be something happening around every corner all weekend long.
Community, Generosity & Big Moments
If year one proved anything, it’s that this event is about more than competition — it’s about community. Expect the return of crowd-favorite fundraising moments, auctions, and opportunities to support a meaningful cause, The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation.
The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation (SJGF) is a Northern Virginia-based nonprofit dedicated to serving children facing serious illnesses, complex special needs, and medical crises. Serving families across the NOVA region and beyond, SJGF provides life-changing gifts and experiences, adaptive equipment, emergency support, therapeutic programs, and inclusive family events to children known as “Raindancers.” Through the support of community partners and fundraisers like this one, SJGF is able to continue helping local children and families learn to “dance in the rain” in the midst of the storms they are facing.
Last year brought unforgettable stories of kindness, laughter, and generosity. This year, we’re ready to build on that momentum and make an even bigger impact together.
